Laid Back.
I enjoy a laid-back life.
FOr the past few days, I've felt like a tourist.
Sitting on the topless City Hippo again and again, enjoying the breeze and the heat.
Can immediately see that I've gotten darker each time I got off the tour.
I took photos to help me remember the route and the parts to talk about.
Really excited that Fidelia is going to join me in taining very soon!
Have been feeling pretty happy with life.
Especially when there are no captains to chide me.
heehee.
I'm still struggling to make long long speeches on the mic.
Harry and Leonard can go on talking non-stop. But I have only learnt to speak when I'm suppose to. Should try to be more talkative and be myself. It's pretty hard to be yourself with strangers all around.

LIFE!
Time to learn my other Hippo script CItyhippo. The past couple of days have been quite nice. Finally had time for a breather after 3 consecutive days of taining. sunday, monday, tues. Yesterday, I had to go get my digital camera repaired and then Wh and I went to walk around clark quay so that I know how to explain the GmAX reverse bungee to the tourist onboard my hippotour. We had lunch and fish n co. at parkmall. The serving was not as big as we thought so we could still walk after that. By the way, I wonder when I'll plan to go back to fish n co to serve. Haha.

I can't wait to go to school! SMU accountancy that is . . . the money chase is getting a little stale.
hmm... Just read an article on the newspapers about a PSC scholar's racist blog and that there were readers who made a complaint to the PSC. Really shows the importance of knowing what you are saying to the world. Heard of this statement " people can judge you more accurately by what comes out of your mouth rather than your physique ". True indeed.
People who publicly criticise about their friends or other people on their blogs are pretty much mindless. Wonder if anybody can get sued for tarnishing the reputation of another by just voicing something untrue and terrible on their blogs. Well of course the writer can easily say " if you don't like what I write, then don't read." What they miss out is the fact that they have defamed others through a very powerful means of information exchange. It really shows how bitter they are to tell the world about the faults of others and probably try to win over other peoples' value judgements through their words. How would you feel when one day you read something on an acquaintance's blog about something you wouldn't want anybody to know about and that person bitches big time about you but then keeps your identity anon? Blogs are the best ways to make enemies if you don't think before you write.

vulnerable in the outside
Ahhh... Finally one free day.Well not quite coz I'll have to give tuition really soon. Holding 3 jobs at once is really tiring.
Tuition teacher
fish n co. server (partime)
HIPPOTOURS/DUCKTOURS tainer (partime)
Of all, the best paying job would be giving tuition, as opposed to ducktours 8 an hour and fish n co. 4.50 an hour. THe most tiring one of all is ironically the lowest paying job. We have to juggle so many things at once. Change the table clothes, explaining to them about the dishes we have, clear the pans and cups and cutlery, take orders, bring guests to their table, attend to customers requests like bringing them extra tartar sauce, chilli sauce, changing the sauce for them, billing them, pouring water for them, apologising to them if they get tired of waiting, mopping the floors, sweeping the floors, getting the sauces ready.

the botaks didn't seem much of a big surprise for we have seen them many-a-time without hair during the races.
The greeness of Pam's house never fails to remind me of trainings at botanics/ mount faber/ macritchie.

A sum-up of the past one week
Went on an expedition to learn more about SUNTEC CiTY and went to walk around the fountain of wealth. Can't believe that there are stalls set up selling the water from the fountain at 5 bucks.Wenhui said he can give them free Singapore air by just farting into their faces. haaa.
APril fools day - went for an interview at SMU school of accountancy; im not kidding.
Started my first tour on 2nd April... and now, I'm just taking a rest since my weekends were burnt up by ducktours. I'm beginning to enjoy talking to tourists.
Managed to keep 10 bucks yesterday by selling water and getting tipped. The entire sum was 20.30 bucks but the amount had to be split between the captain and me.
It's been raining these few days and I wonder why. I've met a few foreigners who are accountants and they've told me that if you like to do the same things again and again, you'll like accounting.Sounds like running long distance to me.
Planning a meet-up with Adeline right now. She's a busy busy girl!!!
