circle experience
What a great time we had at the circle experience.
Paul and frens painted Chinese Garden and CDans awfully red! (especially me...with my track pants) Never knew a camp could be so well organised and with so many people working together to make it work for us. We climbed robes, slept in tents, dragon-boated,built a raft, played with water guns, water bombs, built a human pyramid, went trekking 5km with all our barang barang while searching for checkpoints (T'was like the amazing race with a scanvanger hunt incorporated in it), learnt a new game called " Mafia" , slept with 200 other people in the same shelter, ate horrible food, crossed a wall 2m high, trust-fell and laughed at Kenvia. It was also great to have geri in the same team as I was and as her sleeping bud too.We cracked up when there were jokes made intentionally and unintentionally..especially when we were the joke.Embarassed ourselves by turning up with red track pants and helped people to think that we were actually "twins" ??? what!?!!
haha. yes Geri, an insult to u rite.
Well, life on the hippotours werent that bad today coz my frens came to cheer me up and had dinner at Gluttons Bay. It was enjoyable company. Thanks go out to Geri, Yuka and Arif. You guys are the most explicit ppl on earth... Cant believe you guys can talk about THAT while having our meal.

lada
wowee...I had a great time at work yesterday... after a long break from the hippotours. Have been on the duck for quite a while. Anyway, Yeeling and Aileen came to be my guests and we had dinner after that at Congress Kopitiam. Had so much to catch up.
Yeeling is going to study chem engineering and Aileen is gonna be in medicine.Won't be seeing them much in the future since I'd be in town while they'll be in NUS. Reminiscing the days when we had to go for training even when it was raining terribly and the tough Mt Faber workouts meted out to us by Mr Ram. After going through so much, I think I'll never forget them both! Thanks once again girls, for coming to brighten up my day at work.
And to Mommy, Happy birthday!!!

weeee....
argh. I woke up feeling so tired and sick. I thought I was going to be sick - woke up with a cold and sore throat. URH. not a nice feeling. Anyway I went to work coz I din find anyone to replace me. And boy was it a torture today. 6 Hippos and one duck tour. But, thank God, my last tour was pretty cool. The locals onboard as well as a taiwanese dad and his 2 kids were so enthusiatic. Their children too! I had 2 kids sing songs onboard so I didnt have to ask stupid questions to give away my duck whistles. Nice that the locals said the tour was nice coz you rarely get compliments from locals. Usually, the tourists are more generous with their praises. I wasnt tipped much today... the lowest I got for a sunday. Well, I cant blame it coz the City hippo is not as interesting as the heritage one.

fun
yesterday was a really fun day!
wh and I left early in the morning to go to Toni and Guy Academy to be a hair model for a demonstration. My hairdresser was demonstrating her skills to some Korean students.
wahahaha! They were desperate for people and height wasn't a factor.
And so it was like prom once more and I started dolling myself up in make-up early in the morning at 745am. It nearly rained so wh had to carry a gigantic umbrella just to protect my make-up from the rain. WHat a bimbotic move~ haha.
Anyway, the Koreans students could hardly speak English... The only thing they could say was " same same". e.g. " Portrait / centre parting same same?"
Never knew there were so many technicalities in the hairdressing line but it was an experience nonetheless. Free hair cut which could have costed A LOT especially when a professional touched my hair. Felt like an exhibit when the Korean students started touching my hair amidst the lesson.
Anyway, right after that, wh went shopping with me... it was pretty fun but I didnt buy anything! And then we binged on KFC and then watched War of the World which had pretty awsome effects.
Today, I worked from 10am to 9pm on the Sentosa Hippo Tour. It was the first day of the tour so nobody really knows about it and hence there were only 3 passengers onboard for the entire DAY! So when we were crusing along, I was the only one sitting on top of the topless bus like the bus belonged to me. And it such a good feeling going along the stretch on Orchard Road like a Prima Dona wearing my black hippo shirt and jeans. Ahha. Oh yeah, the city hippo was behind us when we were at our Animal Farm stop and I ran up to wave at our guests onboard and shouted "HELLO!"
