mom finished the half army marathon today... bravo! and she even got a finisher's medal. Theres a merlion picture on it and the benjamin shears bridge too.. its a lot nicer than my medals covered with dust. -i'm turning green- will be workin tmr at hippotours tmr to do them a favour after wat they have done to me... haha.
it doesnt pay to be nice but be nice anyway.....

have been doing a great deal of catching up in this week man b4 sch shittily starts. I : met up with arif for dinner n esplanade show met up with ham to watch Click (great show) n dinner at Cathay perfected my muffins (fluffy and blueberry) worked as much as i can (coz i have a feeling im gonna miss serving ice cream) erm thats it. hahhaha..feel like i haven done much actually hm..
Btw, stupid cathay was undergoing some construction work and the movie was disrupted by the noise...
Yay! I finally received the mark lee-b&j scoopys photo. Much appreciation to B&J fan and Laselle SIA student Vincent Lok who was nice enough to lend his camera to us.

i saw mark lee at cathay ben and jerrys. borrowed a camera from a customer but i think he lost the serviette which contained my email address so no more mark lees picture to paste on the wall! :( He's great.

a sneak preview into the SMU Uni-Y comm service camp thanks to Vincent Ha O i/c of one of the most well organised and fun camp I've been to.
Yesterday, I read my SMU email and found out that one of my fellow school mates passed away in a car accident. Though I didnt know him personally nor know how he looked like, was quite depressed about it esp when I read it for myself in the newspaper. Gosh... cant imagine dying so young and abruptly. 2 weeks to year 2 n then suddenly, he leaves. No orbituaries about him either. I guess his family is too distraught about it.

Its not as if u were nv late urself in the mornings and exploited ppl like me had to wait outside the shop for someone to open the door. a brand new entry for a brand new month. August... the month of the hungry ghosts and important birthdays. just came back from Uni-Y comm service camp yesternoon and I've decided to try to be more active in school....decided doesnt mean a pro-action because I noe I always make promises like these when I'm all free and easy and den when I start getting choked with projects and tests, they just become promises to myself I just cant keep. CheerLeading for instance. Ya'know the camp really did make me think about how blessed I was and how I should do more for the needy society. We were taking care of Tanglin Special school youths for 2 days at our Sembawang campsite and it threw most of us if not all, out of our comfort zone. Tough seeing these ppl suffer in a world of rejection.
Yesterday, I was scooping again and my camp group came to visit and bought the Vermonster - a sinful mix of 20 scoops of ice cream, bananas, brownies, cookies, whipped cream, peanuts, rainbow sprinkles, m and ms, chocolate sprinkles, hot fudge and caramel ....all in a bucket. Yeeling and Aileen popped by too and so did Ruo Mei whom I have not seen for eons!
And Happy Birthday dar!!!! You mean the world to me.
